People who have exceptions from permits to study in Canada
If you are a member of the Foreign Armed Forces on official duty in Canada, you do not need a study permit. Exceptions with short courses (6months or less)
If your course or program lasts for 6 months or less, you are exempt from study permission. Your course is not part of a longer program, you will complete all of your education within the time you are authorized to live in Canada (usually 6 months after your entry). Study permission is exempt.
Children less than 18 years of age in Canada
