UK’s shortage occupations list for easy skilled worker visa

UK’s shortage occupation list does not exist anymore. It has been abolished. A new Immigration salary list has been introduced which allows some applicants to be paid less than normal rates.

The UK has changed all the way a foreign-qualified person can get a work visa. The immigration rules changes are in effect from 9 am 1 December 2020. The statement of changes in immigration rules HC813 was announced by the UKBA on 22 October 2020. These were further changed from series-wise from 12 March 2024 and 4 April 2024.

Having a job offer from an approved employer, English knowledge, and certain salary requirements make it now easier for those willing to qualify for a new work visa. people having better qualifications will have an edge over others.

Following are the jobs that can help you apply for a skilled worker visa. If your job is from this list, you can be paid 80% of the rates implemented for standard salary requirements.
