What is PNP?
There are 10 Canadian provinces, with three territories to the north. The provinces are Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan. The three territories are Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and Yukon.
PNP currently has about 80 unique streams in the participating provinces and territories. The chosen candidates through this category get 600 CRS extra points.
To apply under the PNP program, the candidates either directly apply through immigration of the provinces and are nominated or they apply directly under the Express Entry program and choose the desired provinces they want to settle in to be nominated.
