New online system for immigrants by Turkey

Turkey’s new online system will help immigrants in different ways such as:

  • Applicants can access the system through an e-Government account, but any amendments to personal information must be done in person at the relevant Migration Directorate;
  • Foreign nationals can register their address, update personal information, and complete fingerprint checks through the new system using their e-Government account;
  • The system does not allow cancellation or rescheduling of appointments after confirmation.

Foreign nationals can now use the newly introduced online system in Turkey. The portal launched on 24 June 2024 can now be accessed by foreign nationals in Turkey if they hold a residence or work permit. Migrants holding international protection or temporary status can also use the system.

The new MD appointment system, introduced by the Presidency of Migration Management, aims to streamline various transactions handled by MDs into a single tracking system and provide a more secure application process for foreign nationals.

How to use the new online portal?

The new online portal can be used through the e-Government accounts or newly made on the official portal https://randevu.goc.gov.tr/. The account-making process needs passport or ID info, email, and Turish phone number. The correct information is mandatory to be submitted during the process because once the account is made the amendments can only be made by visiting the migration directorate office.

Booking appointments

Foreign nationals living in Türkiye can schedule an appointment at one of the Migration Directorates (MDs) in the city where their residency is registered. It’s essential to book the right type of appointment because once it’s confirmed, the system doesn’t allow you to cancel or reschedule it.

Additionally, you won’t be able to book another appointment for 30 days, whether for the same or a different purpose, if you have a confirmed appointment.

At the moment, you can choose your appointment date and time from the available slots in the system. However, if there’s a high demand, the system may automatically assign you an appointment based on the MD’s availability. In such cases, the details will be sent to you via email or SMS.

Foreign nationals must attend their appointments at the specified time and place. Missing an appointment means the process can’t be completed, and you’ll need to wait 30 days before booking a new one.
