Switzerland needs skilled workers for its labor market. For Swiss employers, it has become really difficult to find engineers, technical workers, and IT specialists, etc this year. Swiss Cantons such as Basel, Geneva, and Zurich have already been urging the government to open the doors for Non-EU skilled migrants, so that shortage of workers could be covered.
Compiled annually by Adecco Switzerland in collaboration with the University of Zurich, the shortage occupations index shows that more and more labor market professions are having difficulties hiring professionals. - by filling out an application for a visa online
- by submitting a visa application to a Swiss consulate or Embassy
- through certain and appointed visa application centers
- at the representation of other Schengen Embassy
