ALBERTA IMMIGRANT NOMINEE PROGRAM

A part of western Canada, Alberta offers immigrants opportunities to get settled there through Alberta immigrant nominee program (AINP). It is the 6th biggest province of Canada with a total population of 4.286 million (2017). Minimum wages in this province are 15.00 CAD per hour (Oct 1, 2018). Main cities of these provinces are:

  • St. Albert
  • Strathcona County
  • Edmonton
  • Calgary
  • Canmore
  • Lethbridge
  • Camrose

Alberta province currently runs following immigration programs:

Alberta Opportunity Stream

This immigration programs allows applicants to apply while having minimum eligibility requirements even if they are working in Alberta ineligible occupations.

Alberta Express Entry Stream

A program that allows Alberta province to nominate an applicant for the Express Entry Program of Federal Government. The nominated persons get 600 extra points for the comprehensive ranking system. That brings almost 100% chances for them to get Canada PR.

Self-Employed Farmer Stream

Through this immigration stream, people who can afford to buy a farm in Canada with farming experience apply for permanent residence.
