On 8 July 2021, the IRCC announces the 26th draw of the year by allowing 4,500 candidates to apply for the permanent residency of Canada. These candidates were from the Canada Experience Class stream requires one year of work experience in Canada to be eligible for ITA. The invitation to apply has been sent to the candidates that have a minimum CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score of 369.
The latest draw for CEC comes with the following details:

This year, 26 express entry draws allowed about 93,842 total candidates from PNP and CEC streams to apply for PR.
Canada is slowly opening its borders for immigrants. The good news came out on 21 June 2021 when it was announced that candidates having valid COPR can now travel to Canada. The validity of the “Certificate of Permanent Residence” is normally for a year since the issuance date. The ones having it expired, can contact the IRCC for the renewal.
Candidates only from inside Canada
Canada has been focusing on inviting express entry candidates only from inside Canada. This is because of the travel restrictions rules implemented. Though the Canadian government has announced on 21 June 2021 that candidates having valid COPR can now travel to Canada, but the overall general travel ban is still implemented till 21 July 2021 for non-essential travel. During this whole year in 26 Express Entry draws, Canada has invited only the candidates from PNP and CEC streams. These candidates are already in Canada and they can now benefit from changing their temporary status into permanent.
This trend will soon come to an end when the travel ban will be lifted and candidates from FSWP and CTC streams will also be issued the “Invitations to Apply”. Canada has already announced that it may open borders once 75% of the country’s population is vaccinated.
What is the CEC program?
Canada Experience Class PR program is one of the three famous programs of Express Entry. Over the past few months, this permanent residency category has received much space as far as the immigration quota is concerned. Among the first 26 draws of Express Entry in 2021, the 13 have been from Canada Experience Class.
