Second time in a row, 6,000 candidates have been issued “Invitation to Apply” from IRCC under the CEC (Canada Experience Class) stream. The 15 Express Entry draw of this year has a CRS score of fewer than 17 points against the last CEC draw. Candidates had to score 400 to get an invitation for PR. The invited candidates had to show that they have had one year of minimum work experience in Canada. After receiving the invitation, they can now apply for permanent residency.
Including this latest express entry draw, Canada has so far invited 61,771 total candidates from PNP and CEC stream to apply for PR. This simply means Canada is really going on the right path for completing the target of 108,500 candidates through express entry this year.
