Canada Extends the Deadline for PGWP Applicants to Enroll in Online Courses

Overseas students can now apply online coursework towards their PGWP qualification until August 31, 2022. Generally, online courses did not qualify for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) before the COVID-19. However, the pandemic has changed the whole scenario. The online courses are now available.

Foreign students can now continue their studies exclusively online from outside of Canada and still achieve a PGWP at the end of the session.

The PGWP is an open work permit. It indicates you can utilize it to work in any profession in Canada for any company. It’s a one-time bargain that can not be prolonged or renewed.

The PGWP makes things simpler to immigrate to Canada

If you have a job and study experience in Canada, it can benefit you with your immigration application.

Six out of ten overseas students who worked during or after their studies became permanent citizens, according to Statistics Canada.

The following are economic class immigration pathways that place a high value on Canadian work experience. These are even compulsory in some courses.

The Canadian Experience Class is an Express Entry-managed scheme. That scheme needs one year of skilled professional experience in Canada.

For French-speaking foreign student graduates in Quebec, the PEQ is a favored route.

The PNP furthermore allows people who are not qualified for Express Entry to enter the country.

If you do receive it, you will be able to work anywhere within Canada. As per research, having both job and academic experience in Canada might help immigrants earn more money. The PGWP is a highly desirable work permit for these purposes, as it offers up more potentialities in Canada.
