As per the views of the immigration expert Umer Rasib from http://visa-guru.com, “this increase may not affect a lot of applicants as the change is not that high. Against this fee, the applicants get an excellent chance to excel in their professional lives in Canada along with their family members. Since Canadian PR is widely famous among citizens of India, Pakistan, China, Mexico, and African countries, the applicants would not be worrying about this increase as most of them already are willing to pay this fee with also extra costs of immigration advisors”.

“The Canadian government has been implementing the PR fee increase since 2020. It was then in 2002 that the fee was changed to adjust for inflation. In April 2022 the PR fee was again increased up to 2%. This time, immense increase has been noted which ranges up to 12% to 13%”, he further added.
