Express Entry: Canada breaks PNP draw record again

The new Express Entry from the PNP draw breaks its record. A total of 1,036 candidates have been invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada by IRCC. The 19th January draw had a Comprehensive Ranking System cut-off score of 745. Since 15th September 2021, Canada has only been inviting candidates from the PNP stream.

Through PNP Express Entry, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan all issue nominations to Express Entry applicants except Quebec and Nunavut.

How Express Entry System Works?

Express Entry is an online application management system that aims to ensure faster processing and better economic outcomes for permanent residency in Canada under federal and provincial programs. The process of the Express Entry System works generally as under:

  • Create an Express Entry profile
  • Get the Registration done
  • Obtain an ITA (invitation to apply for PR)
  • Apply for permanent residence
