More candidates through the PNP stream (the 13th draw of the PNP this year) have been invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada by the government. IRCC has so far issued 25 express entry draws in 2021 which allowed about 89,342 total candidates from PNP and CEC streams to apply for PR. The latest draw was held on July 7, 2021, with the following details:
- Expess Entry Draw Stream: PNP (Provincial Nominee Program)
- Date and time of round: July 7, 2021 at 13:17:37 UTC
- Express Entry system number 195
- A number of invitations issued: 627
- CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 760 (18 points more than of last PNP draw)
- Tie-breaking rule: June 14, 2021 at 07:44:05 UTC
The invited candidates had to score only 160 as 600 scores were given extra for provincial nomination.
The biggest news comes out from the IRCC on 21 June 2021 where approved candidates can now travel to Canada (having approved COPR valid certificate). Many candidates of permanent residency programs having approved PR status will now be able to travel to Canada from 21 June 2021.
