Canada hits 100,000 invitations landmark for Express Entry stream and it is still the start of August. A total of 30 “Express Entry Draws” in 2021 have invited 102,316 Express Entry pool candidates to apply for the PR. As expected, the “Canadian Experience Class” draw for Express Entry candidates has been released by IRCC. The draw allowed a total of 3,000 candidates to apply for permanent residency. The successful candidates had to score 404 as a minim score to receive the invitation to apply. The CRA score is 7 points less than last time. The tie-breaking rule was on 3 August 2021 at 05:39:26 UTC.
It is a must for the Express Entry pool applicants to have one year of minimum work experience in Canada for being eligible for the CEC stream.
IRCC has so far reached the incredible milestone in just 7 months of 2021 to surpass a hundred thousand candidates’ ITAs for PNP and CEC streams. Including this draw of 5th August, 102,316 Express Entry pool candidates have received the invitations to apply for the PR. The target of this year is about to be complete as 108,500 candidates from the Express Entry stream.
Since Canada is aiming to reach its target of 401,000 immigrants in 2021, it needs each month a significant increase in numbers. It has till June, almost 143,000 immigrants admitted, which leaves it 258,000 behind. In other words, the country will need 43,000 immigrants from July to December 2021 each month to reach the target.

What is the CEC category?
Canada Experience Class PR program is one of the three famous programs of Express Entry. Over the past few months, this permanent residency category has received much space as far as the immigration quota is concerned.
