The new Provincial Nominee Program draw is out now. This is the 40th draw of this year. A total of 613 candidates have been invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada. The minimum CRS score candidates had to achieve was 737 to be invited. This is the 6th consecutive PNP draw. Usually, IRCC issues CEC draw before PNP, but this has not been the case since 14th September.
PNP candidates automatically get 600 extra points when they receive a provincial nomination which makes provide the edge over other candidates. In this draw, for example, the candidates only had to score 137 points to be eligible for the PR nomination since they already achieved 600 extra points through the PNP stream.
So far this year, immigration Canada has invited a total of 112,653 Express entry candidates (only through CEC and PNP programs).
