In the most recent draw of the Provincial Nominee Program, the IRCC has invited 521 candidates to apply for the permanent residency of Canada. This was a routine draw under the Express Entry stream. The candidates, in order to be invited, had to score 732. This can be considered a high comprehensive ranking score cut but in reality not. This why because PNP candidates already automatically get 600 points extra for a nomination from a province. Since they only had to score 132 in order to be qualified for the ITA.
The invited candidates have only had now 60 days to apply for permanent residency. This is the 18th PNP and overall 35th draw of the year under the express entry program. Canada has so far issued the following draws in 2021 under these streams:

How PNP programs are progressing?
Canadian provinces invited through PNP programs, about 3,400 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residency. The provincial nominee programs are doing a great job. For example, Alberta has released the details for two of its biggest draws of the year:
- On August 23, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) held its largest draw to date, with 450 invitations to Express Entry candidates with a CRS score of 300,
- On August 30, Alberta held its biggest draw since 2019 with 400 invitations to Express Entry candidates who had scores of at least 301,
- Ontario holds the first PNP invitation round for Masters and Ph.D. grads and invited 479 international student graduates to apply for a provincial nomination on August 18,
- SomeCanadian provinces invited the following number of candidates in:
- August:Ontario:875
- Saskatchewan: 948
- British Columbia: 900
Quebec released the results of a third PNP draw that took place last month on August 26 by inviting 585 immigration candidates with a score of at least 517 in the Arrima pool.
