IRCC relesases the CEC draw to those candidates who have one year Canadian work experiance. These candidates can now apply for the permenent residency. Same number of invitations to apply have been issued as of last time (6,000). This is about 11 points less than of last time.
The candidates who were eligible to apply under the CEC stream had to show a minimum of one year of Canadian work experience and an intermediate level of English language level.
Canada has so far invited 88,715 total candidates from PNP and CEC stream to apply for PR
The 24th draw of Express Entry issued ITA’s to 6,000 candidates. This is the 12th CEC draw of 2021. The CEC stream has now become the key path for permanent residency candidates as it requires the candidates to have only one year’s work experience in Canada.
Canada is slowly opening its borders for immigrants. The good news came out on 21 June 2021 when it was announced that candidates having valid COPR can now travel to Canada. The validity of the “Certificate of Permanent Residence” is normally for a year since the issuance date. The ones having it expired, can contact the IRCC for the renewal.
IRCC has not so far indicated when the candidates of other express entry programs are invited to apply for PR. Since the travel restrictions came into action on 18 March 2021, only CEC and PNP streams have been the ones for which the candidates have received ITAs. This is why because these candidates were already in Canada. Canada is likely to consider other programs such as are Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Skilled Trade program towards the end of the year.
