Germany New Asylum Law

Germany has introduced new modern law based on Canadian model where it will bring more and more educational and qualified people from all around the world with best academic background, professional skills, English/German language knowledge, and with young age factor. Through this new law, the professional will be able to come to Germany through EU blue card scheme  through normal work permit stream.

What is new for asylum-seekers?

The main point that made this law famous the inclusion of giving those asylum seekers right to apply for residence permit whose asylum or refugee status status application have been rejected for some reasons they cannot be deported to their home countries. Such people have integrated them well into German society and work there as well and are proper tax payers. So these people who are mostly from Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and many other African countries will be able to benefit from this program by having permanent work contract, knowledge of German language, and financial status.

Details of new immigration law typically for asylum-seekers

German coalition government has now finally reached on a an agreement for a suitable law for non-European nationals and other asylum seekers. Where working in Germany will be made easier and in a flexible way with least restrictions.

According to BAMF (federal agency for migration and asylum) has stated that till June 2018 there have been in total 230,000 people who were to be removed from Germany whereas later on 174,000 were granted exemption from deportation due to many certain reasons. Now these people will also be able to apply for better residence permit options.

The new law agreement has been signed by Social Democrat (SPD) Labor Minister Hubertus Heil and Interior Minister Horst Seehofer of the CSU.

Hubertus Heil has played a key role in this agreement and has been able to agree the other members on this regulation. He himself declared this regulation as pragmatic and realistic. He also urged that there should be a clear way for asylum-seekers whose application have been rejected to get proper residency permit. Surely this is yet to be decided how.

The proposed law could be of benefit to those asylum-seekers who:

  • have good knowledge of German language (level is yet to be decided but perhaps it would be B1)
  • have integrated themselves into German society
  • hold basic qualification and training for job
  • permanent contract of job

More clearance in law will be brought in to effect from next year. So it requires now more time to be modified in to proper form and identifying a proper procedure to let this new law into enforcement.

Germany in a dynamic and well-developed country. Due to ts industrial development, it is really famous all over the world. Many professionals get attracted to its labor market due to good salary rates and excellent work conditions.

Along this, Germany has always been an excellent and preferred place for asylum seekers. Over the past 4 years, more than 1.1 million people from all around the work have applied for asylum or refugee protections in Germany. Many of these people have been able to get integrated and have also merged them well into German society. But still they have been unable to get a proper residence permit status. So this new law, will be of great benefit to these all people.
