Eligibility Requirements
In general, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- be a citizen of Chevening eligible country (see here the complete list)
- hold an undergraduate degree (bachelor’s degree) that allows you to study a postgraduate degree (master’s degree) in the UK. This should be equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK
- the chosen course must start in the autumn term (usually September/October) at a level of taught master’s degree and surely it must be based in the UK
- have worked professionally for 2 years
- will return to the country of citizenship after the completion of your studies for at least two years
- must apply in three different UK universities and must have received the unconditional offer letter till 16 July 2019
- must have had a sufficient level of English language to follow the course. Typically 5.5 band score of each in Academic IELTS.

How to apply for Cheveing Scholarships?
-Apply online
It all goes online and simple. You have to apply online for the program. You can create an account online here to set up the journey.
Provide English Language Proficiency
You must prepare for the English proficiency program if do not have one already. You can still submit it till 16 July 2020 even after applying online.
-Work Experience
You must show that you hold a valid work experience as a full or part-time employee, volunteer, or paid or unpaid intern. A full-time work comprises of 35 to 60 hours per week and a working year comprises of 40 to 50 weeks. In hours, the work experience must of at least 2800 hours in any case. Surely part-time work will be longer than 2 years if it is in your case. Work experience mandatory for the studies part would not be counted. Furthermore, the work experience could also be before, during or after undergraduate. You can submit it for the maximum of ten different positions you have worked for.

At the time of applying online, you will be asked to give the names of two referees for a professional and academic reference. Upon application acceptance, you will then be asked to upload two reference letters from the referees till 25 February 2020. The referees should not be your relatives or family members. Only sincere and true reference is accepted. The referee that gives you the reference letter must tell:
- how long he know you?
- in what capacity does he know you, such as academic, professional, or volunteer
- when did he last have contact with you
- a brief overview about your skills in leadership and networking, personal intellectual and interpersonal qualities, and ability to complete the chosen study program in the UK
