New Brunswick is once again organizing a virtual recruitment mission for the “Hospitality Sector” from around the world. The interested candidates who want to settle in this Canadian province can apply for the online event. There are no set aside deadlines for the application process though. - Sous-chefs, specialist chefs and chefs usually require several years of experience in commercial food preparation.
- Red Seal endorsement for cooks is also available to qualified chefs upon successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination.
- The certifications of Certified Working Chef (CWC) and Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC), administered by the Canadian Culinary Institute (CCI) of the Canadian Culinary Federation (CCF) are available to qualified chefs.

How to apply for these events?
Before being a part of such job fairs, recruitment events, or immigration information sessions, one has to fill in an application form online (provided above against each job fair). The registration form asks you about yourself (qualification, age, work experience, and financial details, etc).
The registration form has four ( 3 to 4) pages. Once you have completed a page and clicked Next, you cannot go back and change any information previously entered. Before clicking Next at the bottom of any page, be sure to review the page to ensure that all of the information entered is correct and that all requested documents have been uploaded.
Once your application seems good enough for employers, you are given a chance to attend the event online on the given day and time along with an email confirmation.
Major Requirements
In order to fill in the online registration, you need the following documents:
- Language exams, i.e. IELTS, TEF, TCF (level 4.0 minimum or 6.0 to 7.0 for higher category jobs on the Canadian Language Benchmarks ). You may also register without it first
- Educational credential assessment (ECA) Please make sure that you have at least a higher secondary school certification. In case of no ECA report, you may submit the highest attained qualification proof
- Photo page of your current valid passport
- Visa for your current country of legal residence (required if your current country of legal residence is not your country of citizenship)
- Your CV (optional)
- The CV of your spouse (optional) (if applicable)
