New Brunswick is inviting “Nursing Professionals” and their families to learn about its permanent residency program. The job fair is a so-called online event that will take place in fall 2021. The registration for participation is open now which can be accessed here. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and personal support workers are in high demand in New Brunswick, with employment opportunities in either official language (English or French).
The province has a dedicated application form to share Nursing qualifications, professional training, and experience information for event organizers. More changes will be for those who have a qualified partner applying with them as a dependant.
How can you work in Canada as an internationally qualified Nurse?
To become licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or a registered nurse (RN) in New Brunswick, the process for an internationally educated nurse (IEN) can take between 12 and 24 months.
New Brunswick’s IEN Navigation service provides customized, client-centered service to IENs at no cost to the candidate. The service assists candidates with key barriers they might experience during the process to licensure, offering guidance surrounding:
- The National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS);
- Provincial entry-to-practice competency assessments;
