New Brunswick’s job fair for Food Production and Processing, Fish and Seafood Labourers, Machine and Process Operators

More opportunities have been introduced by the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The province is all-time famous for its job fairs which are now conducted online. Food Production and Processing, Fish and Seafood Labourers, and Machine and Process Operators are open to participating in the recent immigration information session. During the session, the provincial immigration officers of New Brunswick will be sharing information and opportunities for those who want to reside in this province in the future.

The application process is simple as the interested candidate who has experience in these professions of 5 years, can fill in the application form and apply. The major professions that are included in these information sessions are as follows:

  • 7445 – Other repairers and servicers- Net Cleaning Technician (NOC C type)
  • 8441 – Fishing vessel deckhands (NOC C type)
  • 9618 – Labourers in fish and seafood processing (NOC D type)
  • 9463 – Fish and seafood plant workers (NOC C type)
  • 8613 – Aquaculture and marine harvest laborers (NOC D type)
  • 9461 – Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing (NOC C type)
  • 9617 – Labourers in food and beverage processing (NOC D type)

1- 7445 – Other repairers and servicers- Net Cleaning Technician (NOC C type)

Employment requirements

  • Some secondary school education is usually required.
  • Completion of college or other courses relevant to particular equipment or product repair or completion of several months of on-the-job training is usually required.

2- 8441 – Fishing vessel deckhands (NOC C type)

Employment requirements

  • There are no specific educational requirements.
  • On-the-job training is provided.
  • Marine Emergency Duties certificate is required by Transport Canada.
  • A deckhand training program may be required.
  • Trawlermen/women require at least one year of experience.
  • Fishing vessel deckhands require a commercial fishing licence.

3- 9618 – Labourers in fish and seafood processing (NOC D type)

Before being a part of such job fairs, recruitment events, or immigration information sessions, one has to fill in an application form online (provided above against each job fair). The registration form asks you about yourself (qualification, age, work experience, financial details, etc).

The registration form has four ( 3 to 4) pages. Once you have completed a page and clicked Next, you cannot go back and change any information previously entered. You make sure that before clicking next at the bottom of any page, be sure to review the page to ensure that all of the information entered is correct and that all requested documents have been uploaded.

Once your application seems good enough for employers, you are given a chance to attend the event online on the given day and time along with an email confirmation.
