International Skilled Worker – Demand in the profession

This subcategory is for skilled workers who have experience in one of Saskatchewan’s most favorite demand-after jobs Occupations. There is no need to offer a job in the province under this sub-category of international expertise Immigration workers.

Minimum eligibility requirements

To be eligible under the Demand sub-category in the profession, applicants must have the following points:

  • If you are currently living in Canada, you must have proof of legal status
  • Have a minimum language score of Canadian  Language Benchmark (CLB) 4
  • Have to complete  at least one year of postgraduate or competitive training

Canadian education system

1- The result of the study program must be a degree, diploma, certificate, or certificate equivalent to a trade certificate (Note: By April 1, 2018, all applications for possession are in demand the subcategory must include a Certificate of Assessment (ECA) Nominee organization).

2- Individuals who have completed business or vocational training as their senior part of schooling are not required to submit an ECA, but must apply instead Saskatchewan license

  • Gain a minimum level of experience in their field of education or training Skilled Occupancy (NOC 0, A, or B) which is considered in demand in Saskatchewan (See the list of student professions below)

3- Skilled At least one-year experience in the last 10 years in a skilled profession (Non-commercial) Or

  •   At least two years of experience in skilled trades in the last five years
  •   At least one year of skilled experience (trade) in the last three years in Canada And non-trade)

4- Obtain proof of professional status or license (with or without regular professionals) Professional Certification Standards in Canada and/or Saskatchewan) if required by SINP. If proof of license is requested, SINP will process the application by then Such evidence has been provided.

5- The settlement is evidence of settlement funds and settlement plans.

Points Assessment Grid

Candidates will be assessed on points according to the following five factors: education and training, Skilled work experience, language ability, age, contact with the Saskatchewan labor market (s), And adaptation.
