Tuition Free Universities in Portugal

Tuition-free universities are not available in all Eu countries. The same is true for Portugal. Students have to pay a certain amount of tuition fee yearly. However, there are many universities in Portugal that allow you to apply for a scholarship program (for candidates with academic excellence). On the other hand, there are many other universities too that offer really cheap and inexpensive degree programs as compared with other European countries.

Average tuition fees in Portugal for bachelor or master degrees

In general, public universities charge โ‚ฌ1500 to โ‚ฌ2000 for bachelor programs andโ‚ฌ2000ย  to โ‚ฌ3500 Euro for master programs. Private universities on the other hand charge almostย โ‚ฌ3200 toย โ‚ฌ4500. Each university in independent to charge yearly fees from international students.
