Turkey Visa-Free Entry for Pakistanis?

Turkey’s visa-free entry for Pakistani has been in new for many days. Is it possible now and can Pakistanis get a visa-free entry to Turkey now in 2021?

Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan have been working on many projects now for a long time. A meeting hosted by Pakistan in Islamabad was held with Turkish and Azerbaijan’s foreign ministers. On Wednesday, 13 January 2021, the meeting concluded with the signing of an agreement, titled ‘Islamabad Declaration’, which said the three countries were desirous of further deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest including political, strategic, trade, economic, peace and security, science and technology, and cultural fields.

Nothing, in particular, identifies visa-free entry access for Pakistani passport holders from Azerbaijan or Turkey in the declaration. This was the 2nd round of meeting between three countries in regard to bilateral relations. The first round of the trilateral meeting was held in Baku in November 2017.

It might well be in near future possible that Pakistanis would be able to travel to these countries visa-free or visa on arrival access. According to the latest Henly passport Index ranking, Pakistanis have access to 32 visa-free/on arrival countries.

Visa Free Countries

These are the countries that require no visa and allow you to enter with only a valid national passport and a return ticket.

Visa on Arrival Countries

Such countries allow you to travel to their land without applying for a visa, but the visa is stamped once you arrive at the airport. Isn’t that awesome? Surely it is. It is as simple as buying a return ticket and traveling directly to the desired nation (the one which allows a visa on arrival).

E-Visa Countries

It means you can apply for a visa to these countries by sitting at home online on your own computer. You don’t need to visit the embassy for visa purposes. Visa application filling, document uploading, and fees paying facilities are all possible online for these countries. This E-Visa is not like a visa on arrival or visa-free countries.
