US DV Lottery 2025 – Results Status Check

US DV Lottery 2025 results are available online to access. The applicants can access the information on the official webpage of the States Department through their entrant confirmation number. The online status check is available from May 4, 2024. The selection process takes place randomly through a lottery.

US DV Lottery Visa Status Check for 2025

The entrant check page online is the only way for individuals to check their Diversity Visa status online. States Department will not contact the successful applicants about their status through email, SMS, or written confirmation. One has to check it through the online status page only.

Enter your “entrant confirmation number”, last or family name, and date of birth to check the application status.

DV-2025 Opening Dates

The DV-2025 lottery opened on 4 October 2023 and closed on 7 November 2023. The applicants from eligible countries could submit online applications to be one of the 55,000 lucky entrants. Please note that the US State Department is not accepting any more applications through an online portal. The DV-Lottery 2026 opening dates will be announced later this year.

How to apply for a DV immigrant visa after selection?

You can only check your selection on the online Diversity Visa selection page. If you have been selected, you will see their details about the application process for you and eligible family members. You must keep your entrant confirmation number till 30 September 2025.

Immigrant Visa (Green Card) Application Time

The announcement allowed time for applying for the Green Card has been set as follows:

  • Start Date: 1 October 2024
  • End Date: 30 September 2025

One should apply as soon as possible once their program rank number is eligible.

What is the Diversity Visa Lottery Program?

The diversity visa lottery is for people of courtiers who have historically low rates of immigration to the United States. The people from countries having excessive rates of United States immigration are not able to register.

A total quota of 55,000 is allocated every year for the applicants to apply for the program. Through an online application system, applicants are allowed to apply for the lottery visa (Green Card) selection process if they are from an eligible country. They can also add data on their children and spouses in the application form.

Applicants are provided with an entrance confirmation number which can be used to access the State Department webpage to check the application status. Once selected through the lottery process, applicants can apply for a Green Card (immigrant visa) under the given allowed dates.
