IRCC holds second Express Entry draw for PNP candidates

The second draw of the Provincial Nominee Program under the Express “Entry Round of Invitations” was released by the IRCC on 4 February.

The Immigration Department has invited 455 candidates from the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The minimum comprehensive ranking system score required was set at 802. The score range for PNP candidates remains high as they also get 600 extra points for being nominated by a province.

The first PNP draw by IRCC was held on 7 January, where 471 candidates were invited through a minimum qualifying score of 793. This year, IRCC has also released two draws for CEC candidates.

As decided in the “Immigration Level Plan 2025-2027″, a total of 55,000 candidates will be able to apply for permanent residence each year.
