IRCC invites candidates in first Express Entry draw of the year

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has released the first draw of 2025. The department issued 471 invitations to apply (ITAs) under the Provincial Nominee Program under the Express Entry Round of Invitations.

PNP and CEC draw will dominate this year as most of the draws will be held from these two programs. Canada is undergoing many immigration rules changes which may change the shape of the draws issued this year.

The Canadian immigration department has issued the latest draw after a delay of 22 days since the last draw was released. The program-based draw details are:
