Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released the latest Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on 12 November. A total of 733 candidates were issued invitations to apply under the round of invitations. The comprehensive ranking system score to be scored remained minimum at 812 which is the highest ever of this year.

The Provincial Nominee Program allows candidates to either get nominated by the provinces directly or through an Express Entry profile. Successful candidates will get 60 days to apply for the permanent residence.
As per the new policies of Canada, more and more candidates from inside the country will be considered to settle permanently. This will also reduce the number of temporary residents according to the targets of IRCC till 2026 (from 7 percent to 5 percent).
Canada has announced 55,000 annual admissions of the PNP stream for the immigration level plan 2025-2027. The allocation is as follows:
- 2025 Target: 55,000 (down from 120,000 last year).
- 2026 Target: 55,000 (down from last year’s 120,000).
- 2027 Target: 55,000.
