This is the 8th French language proficiency draw of the year. The previous draw of this category was held on 15 August in which 2,000 candidates were invited with a minimum score of 394.
The French proficiency is a category-based draw. Over the past many months, IRCC has been releasing “General”, “Category Based” or “Program Specific” draws. The category-based draws are as follows:
- Healthcare occupations
- Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
- Trades occupations, such as carpenters, plumbers, and contractors
