IRCC invites Express Entry candidates in the third draw of December

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada have released the new Provincial Nominee Program draw on on 16 December. 1,085 candidates in the pool with a minimum score of 727 have been issued invitations in the latest round of invitations.

The successful candidates will now have 60 days to apply for permanent residence in Canada. This is the second PNP draw of December. In the previous draw of 2 December, 676 candidates got ITAs with a Comprehensive Ranking System Score of 705.

Due to the newly announced “Immigration Level Plan 2025-2027“, we may see more and more In-Canada Express Entry System draws either through “Program” or “Category” based. For the same period, the PNP quota has been significantly decreasing and set at 55,000 for each year.

This simply means candidates with Canadian work experience will be given priority so that the population of temporary residents can be decreased in the county(from 6 to 5 percent of the overall population).
