IRCC has released the year’s second Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw. According to the “Round of Invitations” held on 23 January, 4,000 candidates from the Express Entry Pool have been invited to apply. They had to score at least 527 (CRS) to receive the “Invitation to Apply”. These candidates will now have 60 days to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
IRCC has announced plans to continue conducting draws for these candidates as outlined in the “In-Canada Focus” allocation of the 2025-2027 Immigration Levels Plan. Under this allocation, the immigration department will welcome 82,890 new immigrants to Canada in 2025.
