You may be asked many questions by the UK border agency officers and they have the right to deny you entry in the UK even if you hold a valid visa. What is a UKVI interview?

The UKVI interview is an interview that is conducted at the airports of the UK by the UK border agency staff. Overall, it cannot be said as an interview but questions answer small session. However in case you are a skilled worker visa holder and you cannot answer some basic questions asked, you may be required to attend a proper interview even at the airport by a UKBA staff.

Who is asked questions at the UK airport?

What are the basic questions asked at the airport?

It varies according to the visa category. Since we are discussing entry as a skilled worker visa holder, the questions mentioned here are mostly related to this category.   • What is your visa category?
  • Please show us your Conformation of Sponsorship (CoS);
  • Tell us where are you going to stay in the UK;

Important Documents to Carry

It is also very important to carry all your documents when you fly to the UK. At the airport, you may be asked to present the documents. These could be your educational, identity, and travel documents.

Getting a BRP (Biometric Residence Permit)

You must get the BRP when you reach the UK. You can get it from the address you have been provided in the letter you are sent in an email from the Embassy of the UK. There you can see the address and go to collect it.
