Canada invites PNP candidates in first Express Entry draw after CRS points change

The long wait for the Express Entry candidates is over. On 14 April, the immigration department of Canada (IRCC) released the latest provincial nominee program draw. Overall, 825 invitations have been issued. The successful candidates had to score a minimum of 764 as per the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

This is the first draw after the implementation of the no points for arranged employment for Express Entry rules.

  • CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 764
  • Number of invitations issued: 825
  • Rank needed: 825 or above
  • Tie-breaking rule: August 17, 2024 at 18:35:52 UTC
    • If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
