The Canadian immigration department has released one more draw for Provincial Nominee Program candidates on 3 March. Under the round of invitations, 725 candidates received invitations to apply. These candidates had to score 667 as per the comprehensive ranking system.
Candidates under the PNP category also receive 600 points for a nomination from the province they are nominated in. This provides them an extra edge over other categories and program-based draws.
As per the announcement by the IRCC, a lesser number of candidates will be able to receive permanent residence in Canada through the PNP program (55,000) each year through Immigration Level Plan 2025-2027.
