The Canadian Immigration Department (IRCC) has released the latest French language proficiency draw. This is the highest number of invitations issued so far this year under the round of invitations.
Overall, 7,500 candidates have received invitations to apply for permanent residence. All of these had to score a minimum of 379 in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). This is also the lowest score this year for any Express Entry category or program.

As per the immigration level plan 2025-2027, Canada is willing to provide more and more chances to candidates of French language proficiency. French-speaking admissions outside of Quebec have been estimated outside Quebec to be 8.5% (29,325) of the total permanent residence quota in 2025. For 2026, it has been set at 9.5% (31,350), and in 2027 with a slight increase to 10% (31,500).
