Canada invites 4,000 candidates to apply for the permanent residence permit. As per the latest IRCC press release, the department has conducted another targeted round of invitations under the Express Entry system, continuing its focused approach for 2025.
In the Express Entry latest draw, a total of 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to candidates in healthcare and social services occupations. Furthermore, to qualify, applicants were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 475.
This marks the fourth Express Entry draw in July alone, building on earlier rounds targeting Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates.
With this round, IRCC has now issued 49,403 ITAs in 2025, showing a consistent trend toward category-based selections. Recent draws have prioritized candidates with French-language proficiency and those in high-demand sectors, such as healthcare, trades, and technology.
The Express Entry latest draw highlights Canada’s ongoing commitment to attracting skilled professionals in sectors facing critical labor shortages. Candidates in the targeted categories are advised to maintain updated profiles to stay eligible for future invitation rounds.
